How to Add Partners

Adding partners from the “Organize” tab

Organize/Partners tab might be used to select the partners of the projects and responsible organizations for each WP. It is possible to see the existing partners in the list and search the partner name on the search bar on the right. If the organization is not previously added in MEL, it will not appear when you type the organization’s name, and it is possible to add it through the “Add New” button on the top left.

Upon clicking on the “Add New” button, a window will appear and you will be required to fill in the organization’s name, choose the partner type, and indicate the country and the city of the partner. Other information such as abbreviation, email address and website are optional to fill.

The mandatory section of partner types consists of the following options, it is possible to choose the relevant option depending on the partner that you are adding.

Adding users in Project “Edit” or “Manage” section

 

Adding a new partner and user is also possible in the “Planning” section, through the “+” button. In the “Partners” tab, click on “Add New” to add a new partner and if the partner is not in the MEL database, click on the “+” button on the right of the box. Similarly, if the contact person is not yet in MEL, by clicking on the “+” button on the right of the “Contact Person” box, it is possible to create a new user in MEL.
