Reported document and data approval

Several filter options are available:

Approved statues:

1. Approved and modified: The filter shows the reports that have been approved already and modified by a user requiring a second/view approval in the workflow to sync the repository.
2. First approve: The filter shows the reports not approved yet.
3. All: Both “Approved and modified” and “First approval”. This is the default statues of the page.
4. Hide if approved and up-to-date at least on one repository Already approved to: This function keeps the up-to-date and approved reports to at least one repository not visible. If a report needs to be found the user should uncheck the filter.

Already approved to:

This section shows all the existing repositories where MEL can harvest from or deposit to. It filters the reports that have an item ID for that repository. When replaced when not selected they show all.

1. Melspace.
2. Gspace.
3. Dataverse Mel.
4. Dataverse CIP.
5. Internal.
6. Dataverse ICRISAT.

Show:

1. All items: The filter shows all the file in this workflow.
2. My items: The filter shows all the reports to approve without the files your assigned to other or others assigned to you.
3. Items assigned to others: The filter shows all the files you assigned to other to approve.
4. Items assigned to me: The filter shows all the files assigned to you to approve.

Note that  the next to each item gives a brief explanation to that item. 

The user can set the number of items to be shown by clicking on records. Searching for specific item is possible too by typing the item ID or the title in the search box.

The files to be approved are listed as per the type of filter selected. The list contains the following columns:

• Workflow Title: It shows the responsible center. In this case it is ICARDA.
• Level Title: It shows the type item check. In this case, it is the meta data and copyrights.
• Item Type: It shows the type of the item uploaded, for example, journal article.
• Item ID: It shows the ID of the item uploaded.
• Submit date: It shows the date of uploaded item.
• Reporting CRP: It shows the mapped crps.
• Submitted by: It refers to the person who has uploaded the item.
• Approvers: It indicates to the approval steps and the approvers names. In this case it is approved by two users in two steps.
• Actions: It consists of the following:
  • Edit & approve.
  • Go to Reporting.
  • Start discussion.
  • Assign.
  • Delete MEL Space.
