Project Deliverable Reportings/Manage Reported Files
Several files can be reported under one deliverable. All uploaded files will be listed in the Report file section and will contain the following information:
ID (1): Shows the item ID in MEL.
Title (2): Shows the title of the uploaded item.
Uploaded by (3): Shows the name of the user who has uploaded the item.
File (4): Shows the status of the file uploaded (limited access or open access, approved or not approved, can be downloaded or not).
Type (5): Shows the type of uploaded item (journal article, report, etc.).
Last edit by (6): Shows the name of the last user who edited the item.
Last edit on (7): Shows the last date the item was edited.
Actions (8): Several functions are made available to manage the uploaded file such as:
- Edit: To change any metadata inserted in the edit section.
- Edit details: To change any metadata inserted in the edit details section.
- CRP Mapping: You can either edit/delete or add new CRP mapping to your uploaded item by clicking on “CRP Mapping”.
A new window will open.
Clicking on “Edit” (1) will open a related window (1). Make the desired changes and click on “Save changes”.
When clicking on “delete” (2) to delete the mapped CRP, a window will open with a message confirming your action (2). Click on “Cancel” to stop the operation or “OK” to go on with the deletion.
Click on “Add New” (3) to add another mapped CRP to your uploaded item. A new window will open. Choose the desired information from the drop-down list of each field and click on “Save Changes”.
- ICARDA Mapping: You can either edit/delete or add new ICARDA mapping to your uploaded item by clicking on “ICARDA Mapping”.
A new window will open.
Clicking on “Edit” (1) will open a related window (1). Make the desired changes and click on “Save changes”.
When clicking on “delete” (2) to delete ICARDA mapping, a window will open with a message confirming your action (2). Click on “Cancel” to stop the operation or “ok” to go on with the deletion.
Click on “Add New” (3) to add another ICARDA mapping to your uploaded item. A new window will open. Choose the desired information from the drop-down list of each field and click on “Save Changes”.
- Delete: You can delete the uploaded file by clicking on “Delete”.
A new window will open. Write the reason for deletion and click on “Submit”. Otherwise click on “Close” to stop the delete operation.
- Relocate: It is now possible to move the uploaded files in-between CRPS/Projects. You can relocate the file to another deliverable, training, or donor report.
To do so, click on “relocate” next to the file that you want to change its place.
Note that this function is limited to some MEL users only, such as MEL Admins, CRP Admins, Center Admins.
A new window will open with the 3 options previously mentioned.
1. Relocate a file from deliverable to another deliverable
Select this option (1) to move a file from deliverable located under one CRP/Project to another deliverable located under another CRP/Project. To move a file:
- Choose the deliverable ID for the CRP/Project where you want to move the file to.
- Add the deliverable ID “Search box” (2) and click on enter.
- Click “Move here” (3) next to the selected deliverable.
- A confirmation message will appear (4). Click on “Ok” to confirm or “Cancel” to stop the operation.
2. Relocate the file from deliverable to training:
Select this option (1) to move a file from deliverable located under one CRP/Project to a training located under either the same CRP/Project or it is located under another CRP/Project. To move a file:
- Choose the training ID for the training that you want to move the file to.
- Add the training ID in the “Search box” (2) and click on enter.
- Click “Move here” (3) next to the selected training.
- A confirmation message will appear (4). Click on “Ok” to confirm or “Cancel” to stop the operation.
3, Relocate the file from deliverable to donor report:
This function is used to move a file from a deliverable located under one CRP/Project to a donor report section related either to the same CRP/Project or it is related to another CRP/Project.
Note that this function is limited to MEL Admins only.
Click on “Output Reporting” to return back to the deliverables’ page.
The number of reported items for each deliverable will be shown.
Click on “Mark as Completed” (1) if you have completed the deliverable reporting or Click on “Mark as uncompleted” (2) if you want to postpone or cancel a deliverable. For more details, see Project Deliverables Completed/Uncompleted.
