Work packages

Work Packages will be imported from the Excel sheet that the coordinators already filled. Please check the information of WP numbers, names and dates and correct if necessary. The section built to manage the WP includes an “Add New” button that allows creating a new WP. Also, it is possible to see a list of existing WPs that you have already created and there are some actions that it is possible to take: such as Edit, Partners, Deliverables, Tasks, and deleting the WP.

Open

Edit button: Adding “WP Responsible” is mandatory while “Co-Responsible” is optional. “Number #” is the number that you will edit to see the WPs in order. Please choose the Start and End Date and write the objectives and Geographical Focus. It is possible to choose a country or choose “Global” if the WP is on a global scale. It is also possible to add the “Collaborating Scientist” to add more people’s contributions in the project Work Packages or Deliverables. If a collaborating scientist is not yet in MEL (it is possible to check via Organize>Users tab or write the name, surname in the box and if the person does not appear), it is possible to add this person via the “+” button and fill information about the person.

Partners button: This section is not editable. Upon clicking, you will see the message: “This table is not editable. Partners presented here are the ones that have at least one staff recorded as a leader or collaborating scientist in this work package”.
